Award-winning charity Autonomie is hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning this Saturday (September 28) in Belfast. The open event will be held at the charity's centre Lilac House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre) and is being organised by young people with additional needs in the community that attend the charity's practical activity programme Freedom2Choose.

To celebrate World Environment Day and this year's theme Beat Air Pollution, young people with additional needs who access Autonomie's Freedom2Choose programme got a chance to pot plants and decorate their plant pots.

Autonomie recently held the What Next? Summer Activities Programme. Young people with disabilities took part in a range of activities including arts and crafts, cookery and music production as part of the two-week scheme.
Young people that attend Autonomie's Freedom2Choose project were recently joined  at LILAC House by author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers, patron of the charity.
