The Family Caring Centre was established in Rathenraw, Antrim in 1985. Its purpose was to provide training, information, advice and Childcare services to families in the area who were suffering from social deprivation as a result of deteriorating housing and high unemployment. The Centre has been successfully providing this support through a range of services which have been continuously developed over the years as a response to the changing needs. Today, over 250 families benefit from the range of services that are currently provided.

First Aid and defibrillator training for churches, youth organisations and community groups throughout Northern Ireland. Provision of first aid cover for church events. Accredited courses include Annual refresher for First Aiders (half-day), Emergency First Aid at Work(1 day), First Aid at Work Re-qualification (2 day), First Aid at Work (3 Day) Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1 Day), Paediatric First Aid (2-day). For churches, I have a bespoke Basic First Aid course (4 hours max). Professional training by an experienced trainer. Covid guidelines maintained.

Forthspring is an inter community group for all the community based at the Springfield Road/Woodvale interface. All of our services are based on good relations and peace-building, in a shared space where everyone is welcome. We offer services from toddlers to pensioners and everyone in-between. Our services include childcare, youth services, community groups, holistic schools based provision, education and exercise classes. Our building is open to other organisations for hire as a resource to support their work.
