PAST aims to celebrate and promote the maritime and built heritage of Portaferry, Strangford and the surrounding area by regenerating buildings and landscape and developing a maritime centre to promote the rich past present and future of the area.

Positive Steps Community Centre meets the needs of the Mid Ulster community. We provide vocational, non-vocational and recreational training with an onsite early years facility and a computer suite. The Centre has been necessary for a voice at grassroots level and in particular women we offer second chance opportunities to progress onto further and higher education and opportunity for employment encouraging inclusion and giving integration with our wrap around services that has a holistic approach that promotes the health and wellbeing of our users within the centre.

Queens Park Women's Group was established in 2010 to address the needs and issues of the people and residents of Queenspark Estate and surrounding areas.

Community Group set up in Rathcoole/Newtownabbey area to support Rathcoole to be a better and safer place to live /socialise.

Rainbow Rehoming was founded on 20/01/97 to help stray, abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs.

Regenerate is a community development organisation building capacity within communities across Portadown and surrounding areas. We put the people of our community at the forefront.

Repair Cafes are pop up community events run by volunteers, where people can get help to fix their broken things for free.

SHIP was established in 2006 to accept, collate and record information in order to promote and inform historical heritage projects encouraging the development of a shared history. Our organisation records a living history of Belfast dockers, their families, the port in general and its connected industries and communities. We have built up a portfolio of banners, books, photographs and documentation allowing us to exhibit this social history.

Chris Dalton has recently been appointed as the approved Midas training agent for Northern Ireland.

Shopmobility Belfast is a charity, that can provide a mobility scooter or wheelchair free of charge between 10am and 4pm to help people get around the city centre, shopping centres and hospitals. We also provide a hire service if you need to take the equipment away for a period of time. Our service is open to EVERYONE who finds access to the city centre difficult, including people with disabilities, older people or those who, due to accident or illness, find themselves with temporary mobility difficulties. Through public consultation Strathroy Community Association identified the need for Business Enterprise units and as a result as a result Strathroy Community Enterprise Ltd (SCEL) was established in 2001.

The Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. Stroke strikes every five minutes in the UK and it changes lives in an instant. Stroke can strike anyone – young, old and everyone in between. Recovery is tough, but with the right specialist support and a ton of courage and determination, the brain can adapt. There are almost 39,000 people rebuilding their lives after stroke in Northern Ireland. We provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.
