Asbestos is an incredibly hazardous substance that causes serious ill-health to anyone who disturbs it. While the majority of asbestos-related illnesses each year can be traced to occupational exposure – an estimated 107,000 workers annually according to the World Health Organization – there are others at risk, too.

Nexus

Have you ever intervened after witnessing something? What happened? Ever felt like you wanted to, or should, intervene, but didn’t? What stopped you? Bystander Intervention means recognising a negative situation and responding in a way that can stop or de-escalate it. We believe that everyone should feel safe and that we all have a role to play in making that happen.

Love God. Love People. Upon entering the Belvoir's sanctuary worshippers marvel at it's brightness and airiness. People speak about it as a place where God is near and yet it is a very simple building, understated in every way. Come early to the 11am Sunday service for a cuppa and chat. And join us in the Family’s Centre after the service for prayer, more coffee and chat while the children play. We are a relaxed church and everyone is welcome.
