The COURSE objectives are to: Understand the nature of counselling Develop personal communication and interpersonal skills; Promote self-development This qualification will give learners an introduction to counselling skills that they will find useful in a variety of complimentary and helping roles such as community workers, youth leaders, care assistants and support worker, as well as those responsible for managing people or staff.
