Organised as part of Age-friendly Belfast, the ‘Two Hands’ online event is taking place on Tuesday 7 December from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. Dementia Friendly East Belfast is offering Free Interactive Dementia Training at the RADAR Centre on Wednesday 17th April at 2pm. The training takes participants to a range of settings to learn how small changes can make a big difference. Training is delivered by a range of agencies including Alzheimer's Society and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

Belfast Exposed is proud to present “A Lightness of Touch”, the showstopping end-of-year degree show for the MFA Photography graduates at Ulster University. This exhibition connects a broad range of thoughts, experiences, and feelings. The content is far-reaching and diverse with works by national and international artists. What binds the artists of this show together is not the subject of their work, but their sensitive and tender approach towards capturing their subjects; a particular lightness of touch.

Day 1 will be based in the Belfast Exposed studio where we will fully prepare you with the knowledge to move into the field of landscape photography with confidence, looking at both historical and contemporary work. Day 2 is on location. The location will be decided on day 1, as well as the choice between a morning sunrise shoot or an evening sunset shoot. Day 3 is back in the studio. The photographs taken on day 2 will be reviewed, with the tutor providing valuable, constructive feedback. Followed by further teaching on the subject.

Belfast Exposed presents AEON, a solo exhibition by Swiss photographer and artist Marcel Rickli. AEON explores radioactive waste repositories and how they will affect humanity for generations to come. Rickli explores how humanity can create symbols and language that will be capable of warning future generations of the dangerous sites for thousands of years to come.
