This brand new self-paced online learning course considers the issue of temporary accommodation in Northern Ireland.  

With more people presenting as homeless, advisers need to have a greater understanding of the homelessness tests applied by statutory agencies.  

Our Housing Advice Training Programme is the ‘must-have’ foundational course for those working in housing. The course will be held 1 day per week, over a six-week period.

Our Financial Capability training looks at what financial capability means, the causes of debt in Northern Ireland and how this impacts on client’s financial capability.

This session will update your knowledge on Welfare Reform and the impacts on the housing situation of vulnerable and low-income households in Northern Ireland. It will also highlight the types of accommodation and groups of people who will remain on Housing Benefit in the short term.
