This session will provide a grounding on debt processes within Northern Ireland specific to tenants in the Private and Social Rented Sector.

This training session leads on from our Dealing with Housing Debt session in August, and offers specific advice and information for anyone supporting tenants who are in housing arrears.  This session is specifically related to tenants in the Private and Social Rented Sector and will provide a grounding on debt processes within Northern Ireland. 

In this session we will be covering the legal processes that Private and Social Landlords must follow to regain their property. We will discuss the temporary Covid legislation which is currently due to end in September and the process the landlord must follow, including court processes and enforcement.
