In the context of an increasing understanding of the relationship between exercise and physical activity and clinical benefits for mental health, this qualification aims to provide advanced exercise instructors with the skills and knowledge to work with patients and mental health professionals in the design, delivery and evaluation of safe and effective physical activity programmes. The qualification is an important step towards developing the confidence of mental health professionals regarding the expertise and integrity of exercise professionals in the development of collaborative and holistic treatment programmes for mental health conditions that include exercise.

This course will ensure that participants have the knowledge and skills to challenge negative decisions. It will cover the legal framework, as well as common problems experienced and implementable tactics. This session will explore what misogyny is and how it contributes to rape culture. It will explore the impact it has on those with lived experience and  how we can play our part by challenging misogyny, sexism and attitudes that contribute to a rape culture.

We’ll explore what misogyny is and how it contributes to rape culture, using real-life examples and scenario-based learning to help you learn how you can play your part in challenging misogyny.

This isn’t your average industry conference with a typical agenda: the Conference will be an inspirational and provocative event for people living with addiction and those who support and work with them.

Join RNIB for our Big Jump in 2019! You’ll be part of a massive team of RNIB skydivers taking to the skies over the same weekend and making the leap to support people with sight loss. We will be jumping ‘en masse’ on September 21 from Coleraine airfield alongside skydivers across the UK to mark the start of National Eye Health Week 2019 and to raise vital funds and awareness for people with sight loss.
