AWARE is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland. The focus of our work is to educate and provide support to people on the illness of depression. A Derry born charity, we now have two offices; one in Derry/Londonderry and a second office in Belfast. AWARE has an established network of 25 support groups in rural and urban areas across the country, which are run by our trained volunteers. Support groups welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder as well as carers for people with the illness.

To promote the health and wellbeing of men in the local area, incorporating their families through a range of activities, mental, physical and socially.

Ballymena South, one of four Community Clusters in Ballymena, was formed in January 2011 and consists of nine core member groups from the Ballykeel, Ballee and Harryville areas.

Our Charity was inspired by our son Todd, who underwent 85 weeks of Chemotherapy for a Brain Tumour. He wanted to help other kids fighting Cancer, in a UNIQUE way, We give every child & young person in UK & IRE A FREE BANDANA when diagnosed with Cancer.
