Basic Life Support

This course covers basic life support skills.

Have you ever intervened after witnessing something? What happened? Ever felt like you wanted to, or should, intervene, but didn’t? What stopped you? Bystander Intervention means recognising a negative situation and responding in a way that can stop or de-escalate it. We believe that everyone should feel safe and that we all have a role to play in making that happen.

Following on from the success of the WHO International Healthy Cities Conference, Changing Cities to Change the World, Celebrating thirty years of the Healthy Cites movement, held last week in Belfast, we are delighted to announce the Belfast Healthy Cities, ‘Healthy City’ 2018 awards.  There are four award categories, Promoting Health Equity; Healthy Places; Healthy Living and Engaging for Change.
