Housing Rights, a local independent housing charity that was established in 1964.

We believe that everyone in Northern Ireland should have a home.  We work tirelessly to keep people in their homes and help them with their housing problems.

This course will assist tenants in understanding where responsibility lies for repairs within Private Tenancies. It will also discuss rights & obligations for both parties within the tenancy. It covers the legislation protecting tenants and landlords as well as discussing the recent updates to HMO properties. We will also discuss possible funding, including grants available for improvements to a property.

Housing Rights are offering members a FREE session on Loans for Mortgage Interest. In April Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) becomes a loan which will be secured on the claimants home. This essential session will prepare attendees for the change.
