This full day course will provide advisers with the information required to aid claimants with all areas of Children’s DLA up to appeal and Carers allowance. Learners will be guided through Children’s DLA forms and will be provided with the tools to utilise case law and guidance to produce stronger initial applications. The course will also cover the two components of Children’s DLA; basic conditions of entitlement, special rules and provide and how entitlement is assessed. The course will also guide learners through the eligibility and application process of Carers allowance and how this benefit can impact other benefits.
