Millisle Youth Forum commenced in 2009 as an unincorporated association, renting out facilities within the village one night a week, to put on activities for the local young people. We progressed from that, rapidly finding that our young folk were telling us that they needed bigger and better facilities, especially "a place to call our own...", and we were successful in obtaining grant funding to enable us to lease, and renovate, an old petrol filling station at the northern end of the Main Street.
