The NIYF is a youth led organisation that lobbies, advocates, promotes and fights for the rights of young people. We believe that young people have an important role to play.

The Youth Forum exists to support young people to affect positive change for themselves and for their communities; we believe young people sound be invested in; can be part of the solution; want to be empowered and must be listened to.

We believe that one person can make a difference; and that together we can achieve great things.

The Network for Youth (NfY) has been designed to allow key youth work partners and young people to develop a flexible contemporary model for strengthening participation in the youth service at a local, sub-regional and regional level. NFY is designed to take into account existing and emerging participative structures and link effectively to the delivery of the Regional Youth Development Plan. NFY will be hosting 2 events in January which will provide a space for young people to discuss key issues including the Education Authority’s proposed new funding scheme for youth services.
