The Labour Relations Agency was established in 1976 as a Non-Departmental Public Body with responsibility for promoting the improvement of employment relations in Northern Ireland. The Agency is independent of Government and is funded through the Department for the Economy (DfE).

The Labour Relations Agency offers support to anyone in Northern Ireland with an employment-related issue. Our services include: advice on good employment practices; vetting of employment policies and procedures; as well as dispute resolution through its conciliation, mediation and arbitration services.

The Labour Relations Agency's services are free of charge, independent, confidential and impartial, and can remove a lot of stress and uncertainty for employers and employees alike, who need to check the latest employment legislation or best practice in workplace relations.

The Agency’s Enquiry Point team can be contacted on 03300 555 300 or via www.lra.org.uk.
