Stronger Together Network would like to invite our members as well as other organizations and individuals to save the date in your diaries for the first event in our Policy Seminar Series entitled ‘All Things Language’. The aims of this seminar are to • Explore communication & language as human rights and how they should be supported • Learn about Sign Language strategy and ESOL strategy • Showcase innovative language solutions and projects in NI • Discuss benefits and challenges of language diversity in education and bilingual education The seminar is especially aimed at individuals and organizations from Ethnic Minority backgrounds who are not very familiar with policy issues around language and education or have limited knowledge of it and would like to know more as well as those who work in the field and would welcome an opportunity to raise and discuss any particular language related issues and/or solutions they have encountered. At this seminar we will also offer information stalls for exhibitors to showcase language related services, projects or initiatives.
