Parenting NI is the leading charity for supporting parents in Northern Ireland.  

Parenting NI deliver a range of high quality services for parents including:

  • Parenting programmes
  • Help and information via a freephone helpline, web chat, online resources, Parenting NI app, podcasts and Parenting Week
  • Consulting with parents on various issues in order to influence government policy, planning and service delivery
  • Carrying out research with parents and using the findings to advocate for parents
  • Family Support Services – including home visiting in Belfast and Southern Trust and National Lottery Community Fund Dads Project
  • Employee Wellbeing Service
  • Training for Practitioners – including OCN Level 4 Working with Parents

Parenting NI are delighted to launch and offer our newly developed accredited qualification - OCN Level 4 certificate in Working with Parents. This qualification is aimed at key workers who support families with multiple needs, including those working in family intervention projects, community settings, early year’s settings and/or social care settings. The qualification is aimed to support work with children from 0-18 years.
