MMH records and promotes heritage collected from ordinary people. It seeks to engage with individuals and community groups to enable them to share their experiences and knowledge of their heritage to educate the general public.

Multimedia Heritage (MMH) is based in Belfast. It was formed in 1998 to record and promote heritage collected from the experiences of ordinary people. It seeks to engage with individuals and community groups to enable them to share their experiences and knowledge of their heritage and to encourage such individuals and groups to share heritage material(photographs, correspondence, prose, poetry, recorded recollections, music, drawings, and paintings) and to commit this material to digital format. It therefore seeks to contribute positively to understanding of heritage by seeking to preserve and share a wealth of knowledge and experience that has been overlooked. MMH has built up a substantial archive of heritage related material ranging from books to events focusing on the history of North Belfast and beyond.
