Learning Disability Pride is Northern Ireland's flagship event celebrating people with a learning disability. First held in Carrickfergus in Spring 2017, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better, and will take place on Saturday 22 June in Carrickfergus. Learning Disability Pride will start with a Carnival Parade to Carrickfergus Castle Car Park where there will be a festival atmosphere with live music, dancing, workshops, arts and crafts , family friendly entertainment and accessible activities. There will also be a marketplace with information stalls, social enterprises, local businesses and food & drink vendors.

We work in partnership with organisations who support people with a learning disability to provide an inclusive, fun event which celebrates learning disability and raises awareness of learning disability, challenges stereotypes and provides an opportunity to develop friendships and relationships.
