Hope Magherafelt

Our heart is to feed those in poverty while also helping to address the underlying root cause of the crisis families and individuals find themselves in.

We are based in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland. The aim of the charity is to 'help transform the lives of those in need - by giving them Hope '. We want to do this by providing practical support to those in poverty and helping them tackle the root causes.
Magherafelt Foodbank is one of the practical ways we want to do this.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
