We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Our foodbank is a project founded by The Lakes Vineyard Church, but is supported by various local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. We currently have 4 distribution centres from where people in need can come to get emergency food parcels and signposting to other agencies who help in a variety of other ways. We currently work with nearly 50 other organisations who can assist with more than just food.
We currently distribute food in Enniskillen, Irvinestown, Ballinamallard, and Newtownbutler.
