Cinemagic Film and Television Festival

Cinemagic will celebrate its 7th Festival Programme in LA with an action packed week of events from March 4th-13th. Young people from LA and from communities across Northern Ireland will benefit from a host of film related opportunities.

The Oscars are over for another year but now comes your chance to be on the Cinemagic Dublin Film Jury and choose the winning films of the festival.

Twenty three teenagers from Belfast schools Ashfield Girls’ High School, Malone College, Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Wellington College, Aquinas Grammar School and Belfast Boys’ Model have produced two short films under the guidance of Cinemagic.

The next Cinemagic at The Ulster Museum movie is the much loved, family favourite, Toy Story, taking place on Sunday 13th March

18 young people from Northern Ireland, aged 18-25, have called ‘action’ on a new film production with support from Cinemagic, Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund and Panavision.

Cinemagic has announced its annual call for Festival Submissions for its Main Festival this autumn.

Cinemagic will feature five film events for children, families and young people celebrating the magical experiences of ‘first love’ portrayed through classic animations, traditional stories/folklore, and exciting adventures.
