Causeway Volunteer Centre

Causeway Volunteer Centre (CVC) is a vibrant, community based, grass roots organisation covering the Causeway Coast area in Northern Ireland.  The ethos of our centre is to actively promote, support and develop positive volunteering in the area.

Our core activities include

• Research, develop and promote local volunteering opportunities

• Provide appropriate support to enable volunteers to find suitable placements

• Organise Volunteer Recognition Events

• Deliver Child and Adult Safeguarding

• Organise generic training on behalf of placement organisations

• Provide advice and training on all aspects of involving and managing volunteers

• Provide advice and training on accessing and managing the Small Grants for Volunteering Programme

• Carry out Access NI checks

• Circulate pertinent information to community and voluntary organisations within our service area

• Participate in regional networks and lobby on behalf of volunteering

• Identify and establish new volunteer involving projects
