The Arts Council is the lead development agency for the arts in Northern Ireland, with a vision of having a society where all people can experience a thriving arts sector that is recognised as essential to creativity, well-being and social and economic prosperity.
Applications are now invited for the appointment of the Arts Council NI Chair, providing the individual with an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution and positive difference to the leadership, direction and oversight of the Board and the organisation. The Chair receives £11,299 per annum plus allowable expenses for a commitment of at least 40 days annually.
Applications are welcome from across the community, voluntary, business or public sectors particularly from women, people with a disability, people from minority ethnic groups and young people.
