Base: HMP Magilligan, Limavady 

Contract: Fixed Term to 31st March 2026 (possible extension subject to funding) 

Hours: part-time (17.5 hours per week) 

Salary: £28,785.00 per annum FTE (pro-rata for part-time) plus environmental allowance paid monthly (pro-rata)

Background to the Role

This role will support the AD:EPT Service. AD:EPT drug and alcohol service is a multi-component service addressing substance use including harm reduction within the three establishments of the Northern Ireland Prison Service.  It aims to address the drug and alcohol issues of service users 18+ through a range of interventions including casework, group work and counselling.
