Learning Disability Pride

Learning Disability Pride is a carnival parade and family fun day celebrating people with a learning disability. It will be held in Carrickfergus on Saturday 22 June 2019 12pm-5pm We need volunteers on the day to help make sure the event runs smoothly!

Volunteer roles will include helping to set up for the event, parade stewarding, helping out with activities and making sure that everyone has lots of fun and stays safe. Please see attached file for more information including what we can offer you in return such as free training, lunch and expenses!

We will also need some help before and after the event so if you can only spare a few hours we would still appreciate the help. If you are not available on the day you may still be able to help in the run up and we would love to hear from you.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us on [email protected] or 02890691351 (Mencap - ask for Julie or Rosie)
