Fundraiser

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating a fundraising strategy for the charity.
• To develop the fundraising activities at Zest alongside the board of directors and management team.
• To coordinate the development of fundraising campaigns and events to raise income and awareness of the service.
• Proactively network and market within the service area to establish and enhance networks and to increase fundraising activities.
• Initiate and respond to community contacts involving talks, presentations, meetings.
• Designing posters, flyers and preparing promotional material.
• Working within a team to organise and administer promotional activities.
• Lead and innovate on campaigns to raise funds for the charity including crowdfunding, payroll giving.
• Working with the volunteer coordinator to ensure volunteer participation at fundraising events.
• Achieving fundraising targets set by board of directors

     1.Qualifications:

Degree level Qualification in a relevant field, i.e: PR, Marketing, Business or 5 years’ experience working as a fundraiser.

     2. Experience: 

• At least 2 years’ experience of fundraising with community groups and charities.
• Experience of securing funding from multiple sources.
• Experience using various computer packages, Microsoft, Adobe.
• Experience of recruiting volunteers and motivating volunteers with regards to fundraising activities.
• Experience working within a team and developing relationships.
• Experience of innovation and developing ideas to diversify income.
• Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with external funders, businesses and individual donors.
