Zest Healing the Hurt a mental health charity supporting those living through Self-Harm and Suicide are recruiting for a Fundraiser to support our activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Creating a fundraising strategy for the charity.
- To develop the fundraising activities at Zest alongside the board of directors and management team.
- To coordinate the development of fundraising campaigns and events to raise income and awareness of the service.
- Proactively network and market within the service area to establish and enhance networks and to increase fundraising activities.
- Initiate and respond to community contacts involving talks, presentations, meetings.
- Designing posters, flyers and preparing promotional material.
- Working within a team to organise and administer promotional activities.
- Lead and innovate on campaigns to raise funds for the charity including crowdfunding, payroll giving.
- Working with the volunteer coordinator to ensure volunteer participation at fundraising events.
- Achieving fundraising targets set by board of directors
1.Qualifications:
Degree level Qualification in a relevant field, i.e: PR, Marketing, Business or 5 years’ experience working as a fundraiser.
2. Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience of fundraising with community groups and charities.
- Experience of securing funding from multiple sources.
- Experience using various computer packages, Microsoft, Adobe.
- Experience of recruiting volunteers and motivating volunteers with regards to fundraising activities.
- Experience working within a team and developing relationships.
- Experience of innovation and developing ideas to diversify income.
- Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with external funders, businesses and individual donors.
