Education Project Organiser (Anaka Women's Collective)
Participation and the Practice of Rights

Anaka Women’s Collective was set up in 2019 to bring together women with shared experience of being from a minority ethnic background; creating community, providing safe, mutually supportive spaces where women can organise and resist oppressive immigration systems, share and learn skills and celebrate all that they have to offer.
Anaka’s Education Project was set up to focus on young people in the asylum system and those with refugee status, and the barriers they face when trying to enrol in schools, colleges and other educational settings. The project partners with various organisations to deliver educational workshops and courses and campaigns for equal access to education.
Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) is recruiting a part time Education Project Organiser for Anaka to work with their staff team and be responsible for the operational management, coordination and continued development of Anaka’s Education Project and their ‘Equal Access to Education’ Campaign.
