
• Provide day-time support to adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism
• Enable service users to participate in community, social, educational and leisure activities.
• Based in day settings, assisting with everyday tasks and skill development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate Person-Centred Care
Uphold respect, privacy, dignity, independence, and choice through person-centred approaches in all interactions. - Community Engagement
Accompany individuals on social outings, shopping trips, transport sessions, and community participation. - Skill Building & Goal Tracking
Support independent living skills, assist with learning outcomes, and record progress using care plans and logs. - Health & Safety
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment; attend to wellbeing needs as required. - Team Collaboration
Liaise with team leaders, activity coordinators, other support workers, and families to ensure coordinated and high-quality care - Administrative Duties
Document daily logs, communication books, and reports on activities and outcomes.
Essential Criteria
At least two years' experience of supporting adults with autism, complex behaviour and mental health issues, behaviours that challenge, learning disabilities and severe learning disabilities.
