Communications and Business Development Coordinator

Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI) is seeking a Communications and Business Development Coordinator to lead on marketing, digital engagement, media, and income generation. This full-time, fixed-term role (35 hrs/week for 2 years) is based in our Belfast office with some flexibility for home working.
You will be responsible for implementing CiNI’s Communications Strategy, managing social media, producing digital content, and raising the organisation’s profile. You will also support business development through fundraising, membership growth, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:

Developing and delivering CiNI’s communications and marketing strategy

Managing and growing CiNI’s digital presence across web and social platforms

Creating engaging content: blogs, videos, podcasts, infographics, and e-bulletins

Handling press releases, media engagement, and public relations

Supporting website updates and coordination with developers

Planning and delivering events, conferences, and awareness campaigns

Identifying new business opportunities and supporting fundraising activities

Leading funding bids and maintaining funder relationships

Growing CiNI’s membership and supporting engagement with stakeholders

Coordinating corporate partnerships and supporting income generation targets
Essential criteria:
- Degree level qualification in media or communications
- 1-2 years experience in a communications or digital marketing role
- 1-2 years experience in a fundraising and marketing role
Salary: NJC Point 17 – £30,060
