Communications and Appeals Officer

The Communications and Appeals Officer role will include:

• Working closely with colleagues to identify compelling stories and themes to share through our communications channels.
• Creating compelling content, and managing our online presence, to ensure that we communicate in a compelling way with our digital audiences, inspiring them to respond.
• Providing inspiring copy and imagery, which can be used in our communications, our partner’s communications and in the media.
• Project managing our digital and printed appeals, to inspire potential and current supporters and invite them to support our mission.
• Managing our onsite communications to ensure that we communicate our mission well with our guests and enable them to respond appropriately.
• Leading our internal communications to inspire and inform staff and volunteers about our activities.
• Ensuring accurate and timely production of management information and reports.
• Contributing to the development and delivery of the Fundraising and Communications team plan.
• Liaising closely with team colleagues to coordinate campaigns.
• Ensuring that all our communications comply with legal and best practice guidelines.
