Co-Ownership Board Member With Public Policy Experience
CO3 Chief Officers 3rd Sector
The Role
The role requires someone with experience of public affairs and have a demonstrable track record of shaping and influencing public policy from either within or without government in Northern Ireland. You will have an appreciation of the difference in strategic drivers between private, public and third sectors, and the implications this has for Co-Ownership as a professionally run, commercially-minded, not-for-profit organisation.
Skills and Competencies
A strategic thinker, you will contribute your assessment of where the opportunities and challenges exist for Co-Ownership to influence public policy, and how to exploit these with a view to benefiting the organisation’s customers and fulfilling Co-Ownerships charitable objectives.
Your excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills will allow you to perform the challenge function needed for a healthy board, and to lend support to your board colleagues and the executive team when needed.
This is not an exhaustive list and if there are other skills and qualities that you feel relevant that would add value to the Co-Ownership board, we encourage you to make an application.
