Location: Springvale Training – 200 Springfield Road, Belfast, BT12 7DB
Hours:8 hrs per week (4 hours Thursday, 4 hours Friday) Term Time
Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour
Responsible to: Management
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this role is to develop the necessary competence of learners who attend Springvale in partnership with their current school through the effective provision of high-quality training and assessment in chosen vocational areas.
MAIN DUTIES OF POST HOLDER:
- To design lesson plans and schemes of work appropriate to qualification being delivered.
- To initially assess and record learner’s skills, abilities and experience.
- To deliver practical and technical learning sessions to learners.
- To sustain expected levels of performance in accordance with Springvale internal standards and awarding body specification.
- To undertake personal training as necessary to maintain high quality standards of work.
- To produce internal and external reports as required.
- To develop relationships with key partners and other external organisations as required.
- To maintain effective working relationships with all internal departments.
- To perform other duties as required by management.
