21316 - Early Years Supervisor - Cookstown

Are you an experienced early years professional with a passion for play-based learning and family support?

🌟 We're Hiring! – Early Years Supervisor (Maternity Cover) 🌟
📍 Location: Gold Sure Start – Outreach Play Team, Cookstown
📅 Contract: Fixed Term – 26 August 2025 to 31 January 2026
🕘 Hours: 20 hours per week | Monday–Friday
💷 Salary: £28,360.80 – £35,811.57 FTE (Pro Rata).

In this rewarding leadership role, you will:
✨ Lead the delivery of engaging play sessions that support children's development and parental involvement
✨ Supervise and support a small, enthusiastic team in an outreach setting
✨ Identify children's developmental needs and contribute to early intervention planning
✨ Record observations and progress, producing individualised plans and supporting reports where necessary

What we're looking for:

✔ NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development or QCF Level 3 in Playwork or Childcare Learning and Development (or equivalent)

✔ Demonstrable experience working in a pre-school or outreach setting with 0–4-year-olds

✔ Experience in communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding their children's needs

✔ Excellent written and observational skills

✔ A confident, flexible team leader who can build strong relationships with families and professionals
