Did you know that 8 out of 10 children learn about money from their parents? But not all parents feel comfortable talking about money to their children. Some parents might think that money shouldn't be discussed with children until they are much older. But evidence suggests that children can start learning about money from a very young age. A lot of what they need to learn as adults to manage money well is already in place by the age of seven e.g. learning to wait for things.
