SHIP works with and supports an elderly community to collect and record oral and multimedia (photographs, poems and short stories) histories of a bygone era. SHIP employs an inter-generational approach to oral histories so that old people pass on life stories to the next generation. SHIP does this so that memories and historical artefacts are retained to enrich the Belfast community.
