While face-to-face meetings are not possible in the current circumstances, local Macmillan services continue to operate by telephone and email including:

  • Macmillan Information and Support services - located in every health trust to support people living with cancer, their carers and families
  • Macmillan Telephone Buddy Scheme  - matching volunteers with people living with cancer 
  • Macmillan Benefits Advice Service - helps people access the financial support they need
  • Macmillan’s Move More physical activity initiative - helps people get active and stay active after a cancer diagnosis
  • Macmillan’s Community Helper Scheme - provides on-going emotional support to people affected by cancer, including carers
