Toddle In 2 Ltd can facilitate 74 children and is located at the South West Acute Hospital.  Toddle In 2 offers four bright and spacious playrooms, catering for 0-12 years the first purpose built Crèche facility in Enniskillen.

We worked closely with our Architect, Damien Ferguson of Inspire Architecture Design on the layout of Toddle In 2 Day Nursery in order to create a facility that offers high quality service in addition to a welcoming ‘home from home’ environment for children. 

Our purpose built Crèche facility provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment, allowing children to socialise and learn holistically yet also grow independently in confidence through state of the art.  Uniquely to Toddle In 2 Day Nursery each of our four playrooms have individual outside access points and are all on ground floor level.

Vision panels and inter-connecting doors have been used throughout the building to link all our playrooms together adding to the natural flow of the nursery and creating a sense of unity and togetherness.  Floor to ceiling windows have also been incorporated in to the design ensuring an optimum indoor outdoor connection with the natural environment.  Furthermore Toddle In 2 houses state of the art child friendly bathrooms and a modern high specification kitchen.

Our environment is organised into clearly defined areas of interest to accommodate active learning opportunities and experiences for children. Our play areas are divided to reduce distraction and allow children to become engrossed in their activities. Toys and materials are stored on low level shelving allowing items to be displayed within reach, therefore encouraging children to make decisions about what they want to use. Children have access to a range of materials on a daily basis such as sand, water, paint, clay, modelling and exploration of natural materials. All activities promote ‘active learning’, which is central to the High Scope approach of education. “Children construct their own learning by doing and being involved in working with materials, people and ideas” (Early Years, 2012).
