Established in 2011, Pollen Studio & Gallery is a small arts organisation and registered charity committed to providing an open and accessible contemporary arts platform in Belfast city centre. We are an artist-led group, dedicated to cultural enrichment through the arts and maintain a regular programme of exhibitions, workshops and events, with our programming determined by committee. Utilising a proactive community orientated educational arts program, the organisation delivers unique socially sited projects that aim to foster civic and cultural enrichment of the city. In addition, Pollen works with an international network of artists and collaborators dedicated to promoting performance and live art.

Mission

Increase access to contemporary arts and culture in N.I. and beyond via a regular programme of exhibitions and events

Fill a gap in Belfast’s cultural community with affordable studio space to emerging artists

Support representation of marginalised groups by providing opportunities and engaging BAME, LGBTQIA+, people living with disability, youth and elderly to have a platform for visibility through arts

Vision

A more connected and united arts community on the island of Ireland with more opportunities and

representation for artists

Access to arts for the local/wider global community regardless of age, demographic background, or ability
