This is a Wellness site with a range of services which aim to prevent, treat or manage issues; the body, spirit and mind treated as a whole. Much physical illness comes with an array of other layered complications such as depression,stress etc
Kathy Barenskie MASc (Autism), BSc (Hons) Soc. Psyc, Ad Dip, Dip. is a Psychodynamic therapist, Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner and a Laughter yoga leader. She has over 30 years experience working on a voluntary and professional basis in the healing therapies. Her qualifications are extensive and her reputation as a therapist is exemplary.
Her many years working as a therapist with a PHA funded crisis organisation and suicide led her to know the benefits of positive thinking: the knowledge that just one positive thought can change the outcome of an otherwise negative event. When Kathy heard of laughter yoga and its benefits she was enthused by the very idea and set about accessing training to become a laughter yoga leader.
Kathy’s therapies are welcoming and safe. She brings her own unique humor to everything she does and everyone leaves feeling uplifted and relaxed. Along with her beautiful personality each individual in the class receives the benefits of Kathy’s professional qualifications and experience. Her warmth and compassion spreads around the room and everyone is soon participating fully in the activities and having a great time.
Kathy believes fully in her own continuous development for the benefit of the people she works for and attends regular professional and personal development courses; continuously updating her portfolio and qualifications.

Laughter Therapy: Laughter is the best medicine to lift your mood and release tension. Being able to laugh and keep a positive outlook is a powerful tool in coping with stressful situations.
Yoga: Yoga works on your body by using breath and movement. Classes offered help release emotional blocks in the body and reduce the likelihood of physical illness.
