Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities

Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities

2 Marsham Street
United Kingdom

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities supports communities across the UK to thrive, making them great places to live and work.

Our work includes investing in local areas to drive growth and create jobs, delivering the homes our country needs, supporting our community and faith groups, and overseeing local government, planning and building safety.

DLUHC are currently committed to delivering a number of funds, set to replace those that will no longer be available due to EU Exit. There are several funds, namely, Community Renewal Fund, Levelling Up Fund and Shared Prosperity Fund. These funds mark an exciting new era within the Department and will invest billions in levelling up our places, communities and infrastructure right across the UK.

The UK’s departure from the European Union is an historic opportunity to build a productive and prosperous economy that is fit for the future and works for all people, communities and nations across the United Kingdom. As we build back better from the COVID-19 pandemic, this government will deliver growth that levels up opportunity, is aligned to our net zero objectives and cements our status as Global Britain.
