Big Telly Theatre Company

Big Telly has been going for over 30 years. Led by Artistic Director Zoe Seaton, we are based in Portstewart, Northern Ireland. We are relentlessly regional, focused on increasing the cultural participation of the most rural, underrepresented communities in society. Providing them with the tools and resources to take back the cultural identity of their towns and to find creative and accessible ways to contribute to social change. Our work is inclusive, interactive and relies on public engagement to achieve long term impact. We also examine, through some of our digital forum projects, the use of theatre to explore issues around social justice, finding the right platforms for people who typically find themselves outside decision making spaces.
