Belfast City Council is responsible for leading and facilitating the community planning process for the city of Belfast.

Community planning is a statutory process designed to help local partners, including community and voluntary partners, work better together to improve people's lives.

The Belfast Community Planning Partnership, which is made up of various statutory, business, higher education, and community and voluntary sectors, has overall responsibility for the community planning process and the Belfast Agenda - the city's community plan.

The Belfast Agenda is the shared plan for how we will work together to make Belfast the best place to live and work or visit.  It includes various commitments aimed at improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of the city.

Our team is responsible for supporting the BCP Partnership, including helping to develop and implement the Belfast Agenda.
