Diversity Challenges

A Peace IV Project with Louth Council From Oriel to Brexit; border reflections, traditions, and contemporary issues is a cross-border project using the arts - music, poetry/prose, and theatre.

The project, From Oriel to Brexit; border reflections, traditions, and contemporary issues is a cross-border project using the arts - music, poetry/prose, and theatre - as a means whereby people from the border region of Louth and Armagh can share their personal and communal histories and raise topical, contemporary issues.

Rather than engage in ‘set piece’ discussions the project will utilise a range of creative and artistic media to bring the participants together in a shared, communal experience.

The outputs from the project – in the form of: a concert; a book of poetry/prose and filmed readings from the publication by the participants; a play performed in five venues - will provide access to a much wider range of participants to engage with the content of the project through attendance at the organised events and via the internet.
