World War II set French family film 'Belle and Sebastian' screens at June CineSeekers Film Club
The CineSeekers Film Club, presented by Cinemagic, host monthly screenings for young people in QFT Belfast, presenting a diverse and varied range of international children’s films.
Saturday 4th June, 4pm.
In WWII-occupied France, six-year-old Sebastian tames the enormous yet gentle mountain dog Belle, who becomes his best friend and protector.
When the Nazis begin rooting out resistance members and Jewish refugees, Belle and Sebastian undertake a treacherous journey to help their village. The famed French children’s novel beloved around the world has been remade for a new generation as a heart-warming family film that deserves to be seen on the big screen.
