Vincent's Brings Affordable Choice to Springfield Road Shoppers

Vincent’s has officially opened on Belfast’s Springfield Road to offer the local community a range of the latest fashions for ladies and gents, babies and childrenswear, footwear, household goods, gifts and accessories.

Performing the official opening was local resident, 101 year old Terry Sharpe, son of Albert, who shot to fame alongside Sean Connery in Disney’s Darby O’Gill and the Little People.

Speaking about the opening of Vincent’s Springfield Road, Anne McLarnon, Chair of Vincent’s Retail Committee, said: “St Vincent de Paul is committed to supporting local communities across the region and this shop is in a prime high street location so local residents can choose from affordable clothing, gifts and homeware.

“The local SVP Conference members and Vincent’s staff have worked enthusiastically to get the shop ready for opening and I would congratulate them on behalf of the Vincent’s Retail Committee on the sterling job they have done.

I have no doubt that the stock will be a hit with price conscious shoppers who are passionate about sustainability. I would like to wish the staff and volunteers every success as they serve the local community.”
