USEL Gift Beds to Local Charity
USEL; the largest supporter of people with disabilities and health related conditions into open employment in Northern Ireland, has donated a range of beds to local charity, Storehouse to assist in their quest to combat family poverty.
The range of king divan bases with matching mattresses were manufactured at USEL’s headquarters in Belfast. 75% of employees within the manufacturing operation have a disability or health related condition and are employed in the manufacture of beds, sports and travel bags, satchels and various types of industrial sewing products.
Matt Orme, Project Manager at Storehouse commented “We’re so thankful to USEL for their generous donation of the beds. Being able to provide brand new items to our clients really helps to restore dignity and respect, and provide them with a better quality of life.”
Katherine Redpath, Marketing Officer, USEL added “We are delighted to be in a position to offer assistance to such a worthwhile charity and hope this will help make a difference to the lives of their clients”.
