On behalf of The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB), Blue Moss is seeking your views regarding the development of a new service called Shared Lives.  It is intended that this service will support older people with living longer in their communities.

Shared Lives is an arrangement where ordinary members of the community are selected and trained as self-employed host carers.  They share their lives, families, interests and experiences in order to support the service user to live fulfilled lives in the community.  Support is provided within a safe, stable and enjoyable home and family life. Time spent with a host carer can range from a few hours during the day or evening, during the week or weekends, to a short overnight break or long term care arrangement.

Due to the impact of Covid-19 this survey is being undertaken online only.  It can be found at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/SharedLivesHSCB/

Your comments are vitally important to help HSCB inform what the service will look like.   The survey will take no more than a few minutes to complete and is entirely confidential.
