Research into Experiences of Grief - participants required

If you are 18 years or older and have experienced a loss in the past 5-10 months, you are invited to take part in a survey study that explores how differences in the grief experience arise.

By conducting this study, the researchers hope to develop effective support services for those who might be at risk for highly severe and impairing experiences of grief, referred to as Complicated Grief

What participants do

You will be asked to complete an online survey that asks about your characteristics (eg, personality style), the nature of your loss (eg, cause of death), whether and how much sense you have made of your grief experience, and the intensity of your grief experience. This survey will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. If you prefer to complete the survey in more than one sitting, or if you accidentally close the survey, your responses will be automatically saved and you can return to it at a later time. After you have completed this survey, you will be contacted again in seven months to complete a second 10-15 minute survey to assess the severity of you grief experience.
